The final report of the ENGAGE (Ecosystem Based Adaptation approach for Sustainable Management and Governance of Coastal Ecosystems) project funded by Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research and jointly executed by Asian Institute of Technology Center in Vietnam (Ngo Tho Hung) and UNU-INWEH, is now available.

The goal was to outline and implement an innovative approach for capacity development by employing a training-cum-workshop (Tcw) model in the South East Asian Region.

Dr Nidhi Nagabhatla, co-lead of the project, articulates on the scalability of the ENGAGE experiences quoting, “The ENGAGE model is flexible, participatory, capacity and policy-oriented – we tested it in the South East Asian region with suite of partners and experts – and are willing to collaborate for wider adoption of this model by other regions/geographies”
