Lisa has extensive experience in international development and humanitarian experience, both as a researcher and a practitioner. Her research has focused on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) and water management in high and lower income countries. She has worked for the Federal Government in Australia as well as many international and UN organisations including UNICEF, UNOCHA and Save the Children UK. Lisa is from Australia and has lived and worked in several countries including Sri Lanka, Kenya, Switzerland and the UK. She holds a PhD from the University of Western Australia (affiliated with University College London) focused on water poverty in South-east Asia, and a Masters in Disaster Management and Sustainable Development from the UK.
