Nabil is a Computer Sciences Engineer, he obtained his tertiary education in computer programming as well as electronics, math, and physics. He has also obtained qualifications in the fields of both Java programming and database administration (Oracle, Sybase, MySQL). Nabil’s work history as a computer engineer, specializing in databases, has seen him employed for his experience in both Governmental and Private sectors.

Nabil brings a wealth of expertise in database administration, programming, and IT capabilities to UNU- INWEH. He works closely with both programmes, applying his skills to run a number of software and database-related solutions to address the world’s water crisis. Nabil’s work sees his involvement in global transboundary water science and management, water-related health solutions, pollutants in the food chain of the Caribbean, adult e-learning on integrated water resource management, and capacity building for knowledge management in developing countries.

His other interests include teaching (as he had a previous experience in teaching “Algorithm” at the University of Algiers) as well as creating and designing complex systems and websites.
