Dr. Susan Watt is a Professor of Social Work at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario. Her research is primarily at the intersection of health care and social policy fields particularly in relation to maternal and newborn health. She is a principle in two multidisciplinary centres — the Ontario Training Centre in Health Services and Research Policy (OTC) and the Transdisciplinary Understanding and Training on Research – Primary Health Care (TUTOR-PHC) training. She works with Dr. Jean Chamberlain and the Save the Mothers organization on maternal health and health care Uganda.
