Yeojin Kim is interested in appropriate technology and water resources issue in developing countries. She is national of South Korea currently undertaking undergraduate degree program at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), South Korea, with a major in Biology. She was also an exchange student with the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. She was interested in water-related policy, so she applied to the ELE Programme at UNU-INWEH.
Yeojin Kim joins UNU-INWEH for two months as an ELE scholar, working under the supervision of Dr Nidhi Nagabhatla. She will work with the team from the GCRF GlobalSeaweedSTAR programme, on growing research and innovation capacity of developing countries engaged in seaweed industry (based on the case study of market leaders especially South Korea).
