SDG Workshop – Tunisia

SDG Workshop – Tunisia

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) collaborated with the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries, represented by the Office of Water Planning and Balance (BPEH) and the National research Institute for Rural Engineering and Forestry (INRGREF) to organise a 3 day workshop to finalize the contextualization of the SDG-PSS in Tunisia. FAO has gladly supported the project and accepted to fund the workshop within the “Regional Initiative on Water Scarcity” being implemented in Tunisia. See the agenda here.

Tunisia has been selected as a pilot country (with Costa Rica, Pakistan, Ghana and the Republic of Korea) for the achievement of this project which will help Tunisia to achieve SDG 6 at the national level, through the use of the Policy Support System (PSS) for monitoring the SDGs.
