Juhi Choksi


Juhi is currently pursuing her graduate studies in Environmental and resource management (Water Management) from Arizona state university. Her program focuses on various aspect of water resources management, environment health and safety, water and food insecurity around the globe. Juhi has experience working in the government sector in her home country India. She worked as an Assistant Project Engineer at Gujarat Pollution Control Board. Her role was analyzing the industrial facilities to determine air, water and hazardous waste in order to scrutinize their legal permit. She is currently serving as the Environment & Resource Management Club President where they hosted volunteer events like Climate Change Resilience in which ERM students suggests several bright ideas to make the ASU campus more climate resilience. After her graduation, she aspires to be working in the same field and wants to contribute her bit in solving the global problem of water scarcity through modern technologies, integrated management and innovation.

Juhi is a part of UNU-INWEH Externship Programme. She will be working closely under the supervision of Dr. Hamid Mehmood on developing the course of Mangroves Biodiversity and Ecosystem for the Water Learning Center.
